  2. 2. Cellulose Nanofibril-based Hybrid Materials : Eco-friendly design towards separation and packaging applications

    Författare :Luis Valencia; Aji Mathew; Olli Ikkala; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Cellulose nanofibrils; hybrid materials; membranes; aerogels; separation; food packaging; Materials Chemistry; materialkemi;

    Sammanfattning : Nanocellulose has been lately considered as the “Holy-Grail” in the design of sustainable materials due to its bio-origin and an unprecedented combination of prominent features, including good mechanical properties, anisotropy and versatile surface chemistry. In addition, nanocellulose in the form of cellulose nanofibrils, can adopt variable structures and morphologies depending on the processing technique, such as aerogels, films and monoliths. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Novel writing and moral philosophy as aspects of a single struggle : Iris Murdoch's hybrid novels

    Författare :Anna Victoria Hallberg; Lars-Åke Skalin; Beata Agrell; Anniken Greve; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Iris Murdoch; hybrid novel; philosophical novel; morality; viva-voce; epiphany; plot; Plato; Wittgenstein; HUMANITIES and RELIGION; HUMANIORA och RELIGIONSVETENSKAP; Literature; Litteraturvetenskap; Litteraturvetenskap; Literature;

    Sammanfattning : This investigation pursues a thesis, namely that moral philosopher and novelist Iris Murdoch was a writer of hybrid novels. Murdoch’s novels are hybrid constructions where she tries to make reflections on moral intuitions discernible and experienced within the novels’ own “system”. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Polymer-Nanoparticle Hybrid Materials for Plasmonic Hydrogen Detection

    Författare :Iwan Darmadi; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; hydrogen; nanofabrication; hybrid material; nanocomposite; polymer; alloy; sensor; nanoplasmonic; palladium;

    Sammanfattning : Plasmonic metal nanoparticles and polymer materials have independently undergone rapid development during the last two decades. More recently, it has been realized that combining these two systems in a hybrid or nanocomposite material comprised of plasmonically active metal nanoparticles dispersed in a polymer matrix leads to systems that exhibit fascinating properties, and some first attempts had been made to exploit them for optical spectroscopy, solar cells or even pure art. 5. 5. Tracing Smartphone-Enabled Customer Journeys : A Socio-Material Approach

    Författare :Patrik Stoopendahl; Jens Hultman; Högskolan i Borås; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Customer journey; Socio-material perspectives; Trace ethnography; Agency; Smartphone; Textil och mode generell ; Textiles and Fashion General ;

    Sammanfattning : This doctoral thesis delves into the transformation of the customer journey—that is, the direct and indirect interactions between a customer and retailer over time—in the smartphone era. Using a socio-material perspective, it goes beyond current visions of the customer journey, which often focus on emotions and experiences, and instead explores how agency is distributed across elements that include consumers and their relationship with their smartphone as a device and a gateway to a digital market infrastructure.
