    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; polymer solar cell; photovoltaics; morphology; photo-degradation; conjugated polymer; fullerene; synchroton-based techniques; hole transport layers; Physics; Fysik;

    Sammanfattning : Polymer solar cells form a promising technology for converting sunlight into electricity, and have reached record efficiencies over 10% and lifetimes of several years. The performance of polymer solar cells depends strongly on the distribution of electron donor and acceptor materials in the active layer. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Optical studies of carrier transport and fundamental absorption in 4H-SiC and Si

    Författare :Paulius Grivickas; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The Fourier transient grating (FTG) technique and a novelspectroscopic technique, both based on free carrier absorption(FCA) probing, have been applied to study the carrierdiffusivity in 4H-SiC and the fundamental absorption edge in4H-SiC and Si, respectively. FTG is a unique technique capable of detecting diffusioncoefficient dependence over a broad injection interval rangingfrom minority carrier diffusion to the ambipolar case. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Interfacial Analysis and Charge Transfer in Solar Cells

    Författare :Xinjian Geng; Jacinto Sá; Ellen Moons; Uppsala universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : Harnessing sunlight through solar cells is vital for sustainable energy production. The conventional architecture of a solar cell consists of multilayers of materials, each serving a particular function. The absorbing layer converts the solar energy into valuable electricity by the photovoltaic effect. LÄS MER
