Sammanfattning : This dissertation is devoted to the study of who used the formal channels of interaction in the early modern era and why. It examines the full range of the political conversation in early modern Sweden, as seen in the supplications to the Diet in the Age of Liberty (1719–1772), and more specifically the supplications submitted to the parliamentary committee tasked with handling them, the Screening Deputation. 3. The workings of co-operation : A comparative study of consumer co-operative organisation in Britain and Sweden, 1860-1970
Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the workings of co-operation. It proceeds by way of a two-case comparative study, where the units of comparison are local consumer co-operatives: the Newcastle upon Tyne Co-operative Society Ltd., situated in the north-east of England, and Konsumentföreningen Solidar in Malmö, in the south-west of Sweden. Sammanfattning : Syftet med denna avhandling är att analysera hur den svenska pressens medarbetare representerades i olika medier från 187o-talet till 193o-talet, hur och varför representationerna förändrades, och hur tidningsrnedarbetare förhöll sig till dem.
