  1. 1. Nominal Morphology in Russian Correspondence 1700-1715 : Part One - Part Two

Författare :Isabelle Midy; Barbro Nilsson; Viktor Zhivov; Per Ambrosiani; Stockholms universitet; []

Sammanfattning : The materials examined here consist of 121 Russian letters dating from 1700-1715. The present study aims to  define a stage in linguistic evolution and analyze the morphological heterogeneity in the textual corpus. The letters are divided into three categories: private, semiofficial, and official. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Från person till person : Avvecklingen av nordisk personkongruens ur ett diakront typologiskt perspektiv

Sammanfattning : This thesis presents a study of the loss of person agreement in the Nordic languages from a diachronic typological perspective. The main purpose is to investigate the following question: When verbal person agreement is lost in a language, and up to six forms are reduced to one, which form will be the one remaining—and why?The study takes a comprehensive approach, covering three major angles: a general linguistic one, a diachronic Nordic one, and a synchronic dialectological Southwestern Swedish one. 3. 3. Geographic Distribution of Intra-specific Variation in Widespread Eurasian boreo-nemoral Woodland Herbs

Författare :Torbjörn Tyler; Biologiska institutionen; []

Sammanfattning : Many woodland plant species have huge distribution areas covering large parts of the Eurasian continent including areas that were glaciated during the last glacial period. In the present thesis, the geographic distribution of variation within such species is investigated and discussed in relation to glacial survival and post-glacial migration, dispersal ability, breeding system and levels of gene-flow between populations and related species, and various methods to measure and analyse genetic variation. Sammanfattning : Selaginellaceae, spikemosses, is a heterosporous plant family belonging to the lycophytes. With an estimated age of some 350 million years, the family is historically important as one of the oldest known groups of vascular plants. Selaginellaceae is herbaceous with a worldwide distribution. However, the majority of the ca. LÄS MER

  5. 5. The morphology and evolutionary significance of the anomalocaridids

Författare :Allison Daley; Graham E. Budd; Nigel C. Hughes; Uppsala universitet; []

Sammanfattning : Approximately 600 to 500 million years ago, a major evolutionary radiation called the “Cambrian Explosion” gave rise to nearly all of the major animal phyla known today. This radiation is recorded by various fossil lagerstätten, such as the Burgess Shale in Canada, where soft-bodied animals are preserved in exquisite detail. LÄS MER
