  1. 6. On Fault Detection, Diagnosis and Monitoring for Induction Motors

    Författare :Mohammed Obaid Mustafa; Mohamed El Hachemi Benbouzid; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Model based fault detection and diagnosis; Model free fault detection; Set Membership Identification SMI ; Uncertainty Bounds Violation Method; Model based Support Vector Classification; Linear and Nonlinear Classification; Minimum Volume Ellipsoid method; Broken Rotor Bars; Faults of Induction Motors; Three phase induction motor; Reglerteknik; Control Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, multiple methods and different approaches have been established and evaluated successfully, in order to detect and diagnose the faults of induction motors (IMs). The aim of this thesis is to present novel fault detection and isolation methods for the case of induction machines that would have the merit to be implemented online and being characterized by specific novel capabilities, when compared with the existing techniques. 2. 7. Urinary bladder function and acquisition of bladder control in healthy children

    Författare :Ulla-Britt Jansson; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Urinary bladder; urination; reference values; life events; children development bladder control; experiences; content analysis; potty training; healthy children;

    Sammanfattning : The overall aim was to advance the knowledge of urinary bladder function and the acquisition of bladder control in healthy children. The participants in papers I, II and III were from the same population (n=59). In paper IV the participants (n=22) were parents of children who had been dry for at least 6 months. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Hand function in children and in persons with neurological disorders : aspects of movement control and evaluation of measurements

    Författare :Elisabeth Svensson; Charlotte Häger-Ross; Birgitta Lindmark; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; cerebellum; disability; hand function; hereditary motor and sensory neuropathies; latency; motor control; reactive control; reproducibility; sensation; strength; Physiotherapy; Sjukgymnastik fysioterapi;

    Sammanfattning : Hand function is of great importance in the many daily activities that require well-coordinated hand and arm movements. Measurement of hand function is an essential element in the rehabilitation process, in order to facilitate medical diagnosis and determine developmental stages, functional levels, and the efficacy of treatment interventions. 4. 9. Chlorophyll fluorescence as a biological feedback signal -for optimized plant growth conditions and stress diagnosis

    Författare :Linnéa Ahlman; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; cucumber; indoor farming; abiotic stress; Fluorescence gain; ESC; biotic stress; basil; dynamics; strawberries; light spectrum; greenhouse lighting control; lettuce; powdery mildew Podosphaera aphanis; Pythium ultimum; LED; classification; lemon balm;

    Sammanfattning : The use of light emitting diodes (LEDs) instead of traditional high pressure sodium lamps, in greenhouses and indoor growing facilities, enables tuning and optimization of both light intensity and light spectrum. This opens for an energy saving potential not possible otherwise. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Muscle Thixotropy : Implications for Human Motor Control

    Författare :Hans Axelson; Karl-Erik Hagbarth; Mikael Elam; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Neurosciences; Motor control; Skeletal muscle; Thixotropy; History-dependent; EMG; Voluntary contractions; Neurovetenskap; Neurology; Neurologi;

    Sammanfattning : Human skeletal muscles possess thixotropic, i.e. history-dependent mechanical properties. This means that the degree of passive muscle stiffness and resting tension is dependent on the immediately preceding history of contractions and length changes. LÄS MER
