    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to gain improved understanding of the income convergence between Finland and Sweden 1950-2000 with a focus on catch-up growth, wage formation, productivity growth, migration and structural change in a setting of structural and institutional differences on the factor markets. Earlier studies of Finnish and Swedish convergence has overlooked the international perspective and therefore missed the general European – US convergence during the period. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Under senaste decennierna har en allt större andel av företags resurser utgjorts av s k osynliga tillgångar, immateriella tillgångar, såsom ägarandelar i utvecklingsbolag, investering i avknoppningsbolag och utveckling av idéer i inkubatorer, samtidigt som de resurser som finns under ett företags juridiska kontroll i bland annat samarbetsprojekt inom FoU, relativt sett också har minskat. Resurstillväxt är en central fråga i de organisationer som studeras i denna avhandling men ofta finns en `obalans´ i relationen mellan identifierade materiella/immateriella resurser och oidentifierade immateriella resurser.     Sammanfattning : This thesis has three self-contained articles.Economic growth and trade in human capital: A salient empirical pattern in the East Asian “miracle” is a large increase in output and factor accumulation despite  only a modest increase in TFP.
