  1. 1. Crystallization of the superconducting phase in unconventional superconductors

    Författare :Patric Holmvall; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; pattern formation; spontaneous symmetry breaking; Andreev bound states; mesoscopic superconductivity; phase crystals; thin superconducting films; phase transitions; non-local Ginzburg-Landau theory; time-reversal symmetry; flat bands; unconventional superconductivity; quasiclassical theory; translational symmetry; cuprates; inhomogeneous superconductivity;

    Sammanfattning : Superconductivity is a macroscopic quantum phenomenon, in the sense that a macroscopic number of electrons form a pair condensate, that occupies a single ground state. The electrons in this state are phase-coherent, breaking global U (1)-symmetry, and spatial variations of the phase imply superflows that usually cost kinetic energy, resulting in a uniform and rigid phase. 2. 2. Assessing responsiveness in the mental health care system : the case of Tehran

    Författare :Ameneh Setareh Forouzan; Miguel San Sebastián; Mehdi Ghazinour; Mojgan Padyab; Ahmad Mohit; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Mental health care; responsiveness; health system; Iran; folkhälsa; Public health;

    Sammanfattning : Introduction: Understanding health service user perceptions of the quality of care is critical to developing measures to increase the utilisation of healthcare services. To relate patient experiences to a common set of standards, the World Health Organization (WHO) developed the concept of health system responsiveness. LÄS MER

  3. 3. The role of deep hydrocarbons in the global hydrocarbon budget

    Författare :Daniil Kudryavtsev; Vladimir Kutcherov; Kostya Trachenko; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Hydrocarbons; non-methane volatile hydrocarbons; carbon dioxide; methane; ethane; propane; butane; global warming; diamond-anvil cells; Raman spectroscopy; high pressure; high temperature; phase transition; Energy Technology; Energiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Nowadays, the issue of global warming and related environmental problems got widespread awareness among scientific society, politics, the industry as well as it has affected our everyday life. The reason for such a negative impact on the atmosphere is attributed mainly to human activities. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Phase Transitions and Phase Formation of Hydrogen in Quasi-2D Lattices

    Författare :Stefan Olsson; Björgvin Hjörvarsson; Yuh Fukai; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physics; hydrogen; finite-size effects; long-ranged interactions; superlattices; phase transitions; elastic interaction; Fysik; Physics; Fysik;

    Sammanfattning : The role of the dimensionality and strain state of metallic lattices on the phase behavior of dissolved hydrogen was explored. Metallic superlattices with well defined hydrogen absorption potential on the nm scale, were utilized as test systems. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Health of refugee migrants in the early post-migration phase in Sweden : The role of health resources and health promotion

    Författare :Maissa Al-Adhami; Raziye Salari; Mats Målqvist; C Elin Larsson; Bernadette Nirmal Kumar; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; refugee migrants; early post-migration; health and well-being; health communication; health promotion; health resources; health literacy; social capital; Sweden; Social Medicine; Socialmedicin;

    Sammanfattning : In the early post-migration phase, the health and well-being of newly settled refugee migrants is negatively affected by structural factors such as restrictive immigration policies, hostile political discourse and limited housing and work opportunities. There is a need for a better understanding of how individual health resources and health promotion can mitigate the impact of these ongoing stressors. LÄS MER
