    Författare :Zack Cherry; Olof Pedersén; Mats Eskhult; Mario Fales; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Neo-Assyrian; Aramaic loanwords; language contact; etymology; cognates; ghost word; Semitic languages; source word; Assyriology; Assyriologi;

    Sammanfattning : This study aimed at identifying and analyzing Aramaic loanwords in Neo-Assyrian for the period 900–600 B.C. 3. 18. Strings, Branes and Non-trivial Space-times

    Författare :Jonas Björnsson; Stephen Hwang; Ioannis Bakas; Karlstads universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; String theory; Membranes; BRST; p -branes; p -branes; Non-compact backgrounds; WZNW-model; No-ghost theorem; Unitarity; Hermitian symmetric spaces; CFT; Physics; Fysik; Physics; Fysik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with different aspects of string and /p/-brane theories. One of the motivations for string theory is to unify the forces in nature and produce a quantum theory of gravity. /p/-branes and related objects arise in string theory and are related to a non-perturbative definition of the theory. 4. 19. Rape and Religion in English Renaissance Literature : A Topical Study of Four Texts by Shakespeare, Drayton, and Middleton

    Sammanfattning : This study argues that Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus (1594) and The Rape of Lucrece (1594), Michael Drayton’s Matilda (1594) and Thomas Middleton’s The Ghost of Lucrece (1600) are, in ways hitherto not realised, topically concerned with the religious controversies in the wake of the English Reformation. This concern is discussed on a general level of interest related to religious attitudes and practices significant at the time of writing, and on a specific level pertaining to events surrounding the capture of the Jesuit poet Robert Southwell in 1592, which included the rape or seduction of a Catholic woman. 5. 20. Theoretical and numerical bimetric relativity

    Författare :Francesco Torsello; Edvard Mörtsell; Eugeny Babichev; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; spin-2 fields; extension of general relativity; ghost-free bimetric theory; Hassan–Rosen bimetric relativity; numerical relativity; teoretisk fysik; Theoretical Physics;

    Sammanfattning : General relativity (GR) is the standard physical theory describing gravitational interactions. All astrophysical and cosmological observations are compatible with its predictions, provided that unknown matter and energy components are included. These are called dark matter and dark energy.
