31. Investigating the streaming potential phenomenon using electric measurements and numerical modelling with special reference to seepage monitoring in embankment dams
Sammanfattning : A three-dimensional finite element computer program has been developed to numerically model the streaming potential phenomenon. The program can in fact calculate and display the primary and secondary potential distributions for any two coupled flows in a three dimensional domain. LÄS MER

33. Research in rock magnetism and palaeomagnetism of recent sediments and palaeozoic to tertiary rocks in Thailand
Sammanfattning : Rock magnetic and palaeomagnetic studies have been performed on sediments and Palaeozoic to Tertiary rocks in Thailand. The first part of the thesis includes an environmantal study based on the magnetic properties of recent sediments in one of southern Thailands largest water reservoirs, the Songkla Lake. LÄS MER
34. An attempt based on an interpretation of multichannel reflection seismic data to delineate sedimentary sequences, structures and evolution in the part of the Western Barents Sea 72° - 74°N and 10° - 17°E
Sammanfattning : This thesis is an attempt to throw further light on the structural development of the passive continental margin of the Western Barents Sea in the area from 72000'N to 74000'N and from 17000'E to 10000'E. It is based mainly on multichannel reflection seismics but available aeromagnetic, shipborne magnetic and free-air gravimetric data have also been analyzed. LÄS MER
35. An integrated study of geological, magnetic and electromagnetic data for mineral exploration in the Jameson Land Basin, central East Greenland
Sammanfattning : The Jameson Land Basin, located in central East Greenland, initiated in Devonian time with the collapse of the over-thickened Caledonian Orogen. The basin developed during different phases of rifting from the late Paleozoic to the Mesozoic and has accumulated between 16-18 km of sediments. LÄS MER
