16. Géométrie digitale utilisée pour la discretisation et le recouvrement optimal des objets euclidiens
Sammanfattning : A Euclidean line in the plane is discretized and the discretized line is dilated by a rectangle. The thesis studies the dilations that cover the original line and determine the optimal ones. Similarly, dilations of discretized Euclidean hyperplanes are studied, and the optimal coverings are described.. LÄS MER
17. Isomorphism classes of abelian varieties over finite fields
Sammanfattning : Deligne and Howe described polarized abelian varieties over finite fields in terms of finitely generated free Z-modules satisfying a list of easy to state axioms. In this thesis we address the problem of developing an effective algorithm to compute isomorphism classes of (principally) polarized abelian varieties over a finite field, together with their automorphism groups. 18. Small energy isotopies of loose Legendrian submanifolds
Sammanfattning : In the first paper, we prove that for a closed Legendrian submanifold L of dimension n>2 with a loose chart of size η, any Legendrian isotopy starting at L can be C0-approximated by a Legendrian isotopy with energy arbitrarily close to η/2. This in particular implies that the displacement energy of loose displaceable Legendrians is bounded by half the size of its smallest loose chart, which proves a conjecture of Dimitroglou Rizell and Sullivan. 19. Topological and geometrical methods in data analysis
Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns two related data analysis pipelines, using topological and geometrical methods respectively, to extract relevant information. The first pipeline, referred to as the topological data analysis (TDA) pipeline, constructs a filtered simplicial complex on a given data set in order to describe its shape. LÄS MER
20. On the Clebsch-Gordan problem for quiver representations
Sammanfattning : On the category of representations of a given quiver we define a tensor product point-wise and arrow-wise. The corresponding Clebsch-Gordan problem of how the tensor product of indecomposable representations decomposes into a direct sum of indecomposable representations is the topic of this thesis. LÄS MER
