  1. 1. Doing Physics - Doing Gender : An Exploration of Physics Students' Identity Constitution in the Context of Laboratory Work

    Författare :Anna T Danielsson; Cedric Linder; Tora Holmberg; Boel Berner; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Physics; Learning; Higher Education; Science Education; Physics Education; Gender; Situated Learning; Physics; Fysik; Fysik med inriktning mot fysikens didaktik; Physics with specialization in Physics Education;

    Sammanfattning : In Sweden today women are greatly under-represented within university physics and the discipline of physics is also symbolically associated with men and masculinity. This motivates in-depth investigations of issues of physics, learning and gender. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Trainee teacher identities in the discourses of physics teacher education : Going against the flow of university physics

    Författare :Johanna Larsson; John Airey; Anna Danielsson; Eva Lundqvist; Maria Vetleseter Bøe; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; physics; physics teacher education; preservice teacher training; professional identity; identity performances; femininities; discourse analysis; qualitative interviews; educational relevance; gender; Physics with specialization in Physics Education; Fysik med inriktning mot fysikens didaktik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates what is involved in being recognized as a legitimate physics teacher-to-be in a Swedish physics teacher programme. Drawing on in-depth, qualitative interviews with 17 physics teacher educators and 17 trainee physics teachers, this thesis sees learning to become a physics teacher as a process of performing professional identities. 3. 3. Fysik, lärande samtal och genus. : En studie av gymnasieelevers gruppdiskussioner i fysik

    Författare :Karin Due; Sylvia Benckert; Britt-Marie Berge; Svein Sjøberg; Umeå universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates how students in upper secondary school solve problems and discuss physics in small groups. The study examines how gender, knowledge in physics and the image of the subject physics are constructed in the students’ conversation and how these processes are related to each other. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Uniformity in physics courses and student diversity : A study of learning to participate in physics

    Författare :Anders Johansson; Staffan Andersson; Minna Salminen-Karlsson; Maja Elmgren; Cedric Linder; Maria Berge; Uppsala universitet; []
