    Sammanfattning : In order to reduce comsumption of inhalational anaesthetsics during high flow anaesthesia a system open in regard to oxygen, nitogen and nitrous oxide, but closed to inhalational anaesthetics, was developed. The studies presented in this thesis focus on the application of pre-chamber ignition system in heavy duty natural gas engines, as a means to improve fuel efficiency and reduce NOx emissions.
