   Sammanfattning : Dissociation dynamics of the ionized molecules HCl and the deuterated system DCl has been studied in gas-phase using synchrotron based photoelectron spectroscopy (PES).The inner-valence "(4σ)-1" photoionization band for DCl and HCl was recorded using maximum resolution in order to probe an interference pattern between a dissociative and a bound electronic state.    Sammanfattning : This Licentiate thesis presents research accomplished at theSection of Atomic and Molecular Physics at the Royal Instituteof Technology in Stockholm using photon induced fluorescencespectroscopy (PIFS) during the last two years.The main results presented are summarized:- Neutral photodissociation in CO was observed aftersynchrotron photon excitation in the range 19-26 eV bycollecting dispersed fluorescence from excited neutral C atoms.    Sammanfattning : In this report we present the results of a single dish study of the molecular gas properties in Seyfert galaxies. From the observations of the closest lying example, the Circinus galaxy, we find that about half of the molecular gas is distributed in a circumnuclear ring orbiting the central super-massive black hole, believed to be powering this type 2 Seyfert.
