11. Pulp chemistry of sulphide froth flotation
Sammanfattning : The pulp chemistry of chalcopyrite, galena and sphalerite is analyzed theoretically, with computer-aided modelling, and practically with ion chromatography. Ion chromatography is used for analyzing the inorganic and organic anion chemistry of sulphide flotation. LÄS MER
12. Sulphide Minerals: Surface Oxidation and Selectivity in Complex Sulphide Ore Flotation
Sammanfattning : Metal and energy extractive industries play a strategic role in the economic development of Sweden. At the same time these industries present a major threat to the environment due to multidimensional environmental pollution produced in the course of ageing of ore processing tailings and waste rocks. 13. Solid state nuclear magnetic resonance studies of synthetic mineral surfaces
Sammanfattning : Solid state 1H, 31P and 27Al Magic Angle Spinning (MAS) Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) was used in studies of surface species formed on a synthetic fluorapatite in aqueous suspensions at different pH with or without ions or ion complexes of iron or aluminium in the suspension. Different sites related to the PO43- ions at the mineral surface were suggested, POx, POxH and POxH2. LÄS MER
14. Textural and chemical characterization of sulphide minerals at the Rävliden North VMS deposit, Skellefte district, Sweden
Sammanfattning : The discovery of new mineral deposits is essential to meet the increasing demand for metals in our society. The Skellefte mining district in Northern Sweden is one of the main producers of polymetallic ores of Cu, Zn, Pb,Ag, Au, and Te in Europe. LÄS MER
15. Fluid inclusion studies of the Laisvall sandstone lead-zinc deposit, Sweden
Sammanfattning : The ore forming environment at Laisvall was characterized by a total salt content of 24 eq. wt-% NaCl with as much as 9 wt-% CaCl2. Its temperature fluctuated between 180°C and 120°C but generally decreased with time. The cementing mineral assemblage was deposited in the general sequence calcite, barite, fluorite, galena, sphalerite. LÄS MER
