    Sammanfattning : In the present thesis, the aim was to probe the distribution and functions of galanin type 2 receptor (GalR2) in the rodent brain.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis was to test the hypothesis that the gastric hormone Cholecystokinin-8 (CCK-8) can modulate the production of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) in the brain.
