16. Rheology of Wheat Flour Doughs at Large Deformations and the Relation to Baking Quality and Physical Structure
Sammanfattning : The effects on dough rheology at large deformations in elongational flow and shear flow have been studied. The results are related to bread making quality in terms of bread volume and to the physical structure of the dough. A new method for evaluation of an instrumented mixograph is reported. LÄS MER
17. Blood flow assessment in cerebral arteries with 4D flow magnetic resonance imaging : an automatic atlas-based approach
Sammanfattning : Background: Disturbed blood flow to the brain has been associated with several neurological diseases, from stroke and vascular diseases to Alzheimer’s and cognitive decline. To determine the cerebral arterial blood flow distribution, measurements are needed in both distal and proximal arteries. LÄS MER
18. Flow cytometry for bioprocess control
Sammanfattning : During bio-technical processing it is important to monitorbiological parameters such as cell growth, viability andproduct formation. Many of the analyses traditionally used areslow to perform and provide only average data for thepopulation. LÄS MER
19. Flow, expansion and processing behaviours of gas-containing filled polyethylene
Sammanfattning : The utilization of fillers in polymeric materials has exhibited a substantial growth during the last decades. Chalk (calcium carbonate) and glass fibres are two common examples of such fillers. These fillers/reinforcing elements are used in order to reduce the cost of material and change its physical (mechanical) properties. LÄS MER
20. Rheology of cement grout : Ultrasound based in-line measurement technique and grouting design parameters
Sammanfattning : Grouting is performed in order to decrease the permeability and increase the stiffness of the material, especially soil and rock. For tunnelling and underground constructions, permeation grouting is done where cement based materials are pumped inside drilled boreholes under a constant pressure, higher than the ground water pressure.
