    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Time utilisation among primary care professionals has been affected by structural changes and reorganisation performed in Swedish primary care over several decades. The work situation is complex with a heavy administrative work load. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Regulation of gene expression in fruit flies : how does it start, and will it be remembered?

    Författare :Aman Zare; Per Stenberg; Yuri B. Schwartz; Åsa Rasmuson-Lestander; Guillaume Filion; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Drosophila; epigenetics; transcription; gene regulation; transcription maintenance; CBP; polymerase pausing; Polycomb group proteins; transgenerational inheritance of transcriptional response; gut microbiome; molekylärbiologi; Molecular Biology;

    Sammanfattning : One of the most distinctive features of eukaryotic chromosomes is the bundling of DNA together with functionally associated RNA and proteins in chromatin. This allows huge amounts of DNA to be packed inside the very tiny space of the nucleus, and alterations in the structure of chromatin enable access to the DNA for transcription (“reading” genes by production of RNA copies). 4. 4. A multi-faceted approach to a "dark taxon" : The hyperdiverse and poorly known scuttle flies (Diptera: Phoridae)

    Författare :Emily Hartop; Fredrik Ronquist; Torbjørn Ekrem; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; biodiversity; taxonomy; dark taxa; Systematic Zoology; zoologisk systematik och evolutionsforskning;

    Sammanfattning : Most of the unknown animal biodiversity on earth is in groups of invertebrates that are hyperdiverse and abundant, yet poorly known (“dark taxa”). The study of these organisms requires a multi-faceted approach and methodologies designed to tackle large numbers of species and specimens. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Charting biodiversity : Scuttle flies and other poorly known insects in Sweden

    Författare :Sibylle Häggqvist; Fredrik Ronquist; Jeff Skevinton; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Systematic Zoology; zoologisk systematik och evolutionsforskning;

    Sammanfattning : Biodiversity has fascinated people in all times. We as a species are part of the global ecosystem and our survival depends on many other species around us. Charting biodiversity, however, has proven more difficult than one could imagine. LÄS MER
