Höijer (1767–1812), who was a Swedish representative of German idealism, is considered one of the brightest thinkers in the history of Swedish philosophy, although to this day he has been largely neglected.    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the aesthetic interpretation of learning processes in television produced and broadcast in Sweden between 1956 and 1969. The thesis explores how these programmes are linked to concepts of Bildung by their aesthetics, by which the intangible cultural heritage is entrusted in the form of oral and visual traditions, storytelling and games/play, where learning is the common denominator.    Sammanfattning : The main aim of this thesis is to defend moral realism. In chapter 1, I argue that moral realism is best understood as the view that (1) moral sentences have truth-value (cognitivism), (2) there are moral properties that make some moral sentences true (success-theory), and (3) moral properties are not reducible to non-moral properties (non-reductionism).    Sammanfattning : This thesis considers Immanuel Kant’s notion of sensibility in the Critique of the Power of Judgment (1790) and Anthropology from a Pragmatic Point of View (1798). It directs attention to sensibility’s function in Kant’s conceptualisation of aesthetic experience and thereby shows how the central role of sensibility in the third Critique contributes to a deeper understanding of aesthetic experience.
