    Sammanfattning : The current thesis discusses how tools for analysing power are developed predominately for adults, and thus remain underdeveloped in terms of understanding injustices related to age, ethnicity/race and gender in childhoods. The overall ambition of this dissertation is to inscribe a discourse of intersecting social injustices as relevant for childhoods and child welfare, and by interlinking postcolonial, feminist, and critical childhood studies.     Sammanfattning : How would a writer describe responsibility in writing, and in what ways could writing be conceived as resistance? One of the fundamental convictions in The writing of Others: writing conceived as resistance, responsibility and time, is that words do things, and that the definition of the performative qualities of literary and poetic language can not be confined to the mere act, but to an act that is also an event with the force to transform our relation the other. This dissertation is committed to doing theory, poetically, by engaging in the empirical experience of writing, and emphasizing the significance of bodily and sensory knowledge. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This monograph on the œuvre of contemporary American author and multimedia artist Shelley Jackson addresses the question of how literary works employ language to evoke sense impressions. Gilles Deleuze’s notion of aesthetic percepts is drawn on to develop a theory of literary phantom sensations which is then tested on the work of Jackson and related authors. LÄS MER
