21. Anterior shoulder dislocation : Aspects of alternative methods of treatment and MR imaging
Sammanfattning : Sixty patients (16-30 years) with traumatic primary anterior shoulder dislocation were allocated to arthroscopic lavage or non-operative treatment. The arthroscopic lavage group had a lower recurrence rate, better functional outcome and anterior stability after one year. LÄS MER
22. On treatment of medial gonarthrosis
Sammanfattning : This study, comprising 7 separate papers, is concerned with treatment of medial gonarthrosis. Results after high tibial osteotomy were found to deteriorate 8-9 years after surgery. The best results were seen in knees with preoperative Stage I or II osteoarthrosis and valgus deviation after osteotomy. LÄS MER
23. Cyanobacterial Hydrogen Metabolism : Transcriptional Regulation of the Hydrogenases in Filamentous Strains
Sammanfattning : Cyanobacteria are a heterogeneous group of phototrophic microorganisms. Many cyanobacteria have the capacity to fix atmospheric nitrogen. During the process of nitrogen fixation, molecular hydrogen is produced. Three enzymes are directly involved in hydrogen metabolism in cyanobacteria. LÄS MER
24. Molecular detection of abundance and activity of marine, symbiotic, N2-fixing cyanobacteria
Sammanfattning : Marine primary productivity in large parts of the oceans is supported by nitrogen fixers (diazotrophs). Richelia, a genus of multiple closely related species of heterocystous filamentous cyanobacterial diazotrophs, are often found in symbioses with a few genera of diatoms. Several Richelia species: R. euintracellularis, R. LÄS MER
25. Quantitative immunochemistry in tissue sections : With special reference to urinary bladder carcinoma
Sammanfattning : Urinary bladder carcinoma affects about 2 000 people in Sweden every year. It is a heterogeneous disease and for adequate treatment decisions, prognostic tools are needed. Many of these are based on immunohistochemistry (MC) and hampered by poorly reproducible methodologies and subjective evaluations. LÄS MER
