    Sammanfattning : In 1705, a four-language thematic dictionary was published in Riga, Wörter-Büchlein, wie etzliche gebräuchliche Sachen auff Teutsch, Schwedisch, Polnisch und Lettisch zu benennen seynd. Its structure is almost identical to a dictionary published by the same printing house in 1688, Vocabularium wie etzliche gebräuchliche Sachen auff Teutsch, Lateinisch, Polnisch und Lettisch auszusprechen seynd.     Sammanfattning : Trichodesmium is a filamentous cyanobacterium of great ecological significance as it contributes significantly to primary production in oceans through an efficient nitrogen fixation strategy, including a unique cell type, the diazocyte. The aim of this thesis was to generate a deeper understanding of the structural and molecular background related to the development of diazocytes and the maintenance of diazotrophy in Trichodesmium erythraeum IMS101.     Sammanfattning : The main objective of this thesis was to develop and improve laboratory methods for detection of HIV-2 in infected humans and detection of HIV-2/SIV in experimentally infected cynomolgus monkeys.
