Sammanfattning : The Paris Agreement, the recent Special Report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and the Sustainable Development Goals are examples of United Nation’s facilitated calls for urgent climate action and more generally for a rapid transition of society towards sustainability. Since urban personal mobility is a significant contributor to society’s current sustainability challenges, and considering current trends of population growth and urbanisation, there is a strong need to develop enhanced support for urban planning for rapid transitioning to sustainable personal mobility. Sammanfattning : The last decade has seen significant shifts in the framework conditions of living and working in the academic life sciences, such as changing funding structures, increasing project-type character of scientific work and the integration of multiple quality assessment mechanisms into structures of scientific knowledge production. Alongside these changes there have also been significant transformations of career rationales in science; normatively, careers today require engaging in international mobility and global competition as well as reoccurring moments of evaluation, application and selection.
