  1. 6. Reliable Information Exchange in IIoT : Investigation into the Role of Data and Data-Driven Modelling

    Författare :Mehrzad Lavassani; Tingting Zhang; Mikael Gidlund; Ulf Jennehag; Christer Åhlund; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Industrial Internet of Things; Industrial Automation; Data Analytics; Data-Driven Modelling; Distributed Modelling; Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks; Wireless Sensor Networks; Industrial Monitoring Framework; Reliability; Real-Time;

    Sammanfattning : The concept of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is the tangible building block for the realisation of the fourth industrial revolution. It should improve productivity, efficiency and reliability of industrial automation systems, leading to revenue growth in industrial scenarios. LÄS MER

  2. 7. A language for enterprise and information system modelling

    Författare :Rolf Wohed; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : In order to ensure that an information system gives the bestpossible support to a business, it is necessary to analyse thebusiness. This is required, not primarily for understanding thebusiness as such, but in order to enable stakeholders tofortnulate precise requirements which, with reasonablecertainty, wIll result in a supportive information system. 3. 8. A Method for Designing Resilient Digital Business Ecosystems

    Författare :Chen Hsi Tsai; Janis Stirna; Jelena Zdravkovic; Irina Rychkov; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; digital business ecosystem; method engineering; enterprise modelling; resilience; data- och systemvetenskap; Computer and Systems Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Organisations and companies are transforming their ways of conducting business by combining digitalisation and digital collaboration in digital business ecosystems (DBE) in order to be able to remain competitive in global markets. However, for companies and organisations to be able to take full advantage of such collaborative business constellations, several challenges, including the capture and coordination of information concerning individual DBE actors and various perspectives of a DBE and the design of resilience for a DBE, need to be addressed. 4. 9. On a Need to Know Basis : A Conceptual and Methodological Framework for Modelling and Analysis of Information Demand in an Enterprise Context

    Författare :Magnus Jandinger; Kurt Sandkuhl; Ulf Seigerroth; Sture Hägglund; Eva Söderström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : While the amount of information, readily available to workers in information- and knowledge intensive business- and industrial contexts, only seem to increase with every day, those workers continue to have difficulties in finding and managing relevant and needed information despite the numerous technical, organisational, and practical approaches promising a remedy to the situation. In this dissertation it is claimed that the main reason for the shortcomings of such approaches are a lack of understanding of the underlying information demand people and organisations have in relation to performing work tasks. 5. 10. Entrained-Flow Gasification of Black Liquor and Pyrolysis Oil : Experimental and Equilibrium Modelling Studies of Catalytic Co-gasification

    Författare :Yawer Jafri; Rikard Gebart; Martin Seemann; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Black liquor; pyrolysis oil; catalytic gasification; co-gasification; gasification; entrained-flow gasification; pilot-scale; Energy Engineering; Energiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : The last couple of decades have seen entrained-flow gasification of black liquor (BL) undergo an incremental process of technical development as an alternative to combustion in a recovery boiler. The ability of the technology to combine chemical recovery with the production of clean syngas renders it a promising candidate for the transformation of chemical pulp mills into integrated forest biorefineries.
