  1. 21. Aerodynamics of an Aeroengine Intermediate Compressor Duct: Effects from an Integrated Bleed System

    Författare :Elias Siggeirsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Intermediate Compressor Duct; S-shaped duct; DDES; Hybrid RANS LES; Dual-time-stepping; Bleed system; rotor off-take; SBES; CFD; Turbomachinery;

    Sammanfattning : With the successful development of high-bypass-ratio turbofan engines, major aerodynamic components have been optimized and continuous efficiency improvements are getting harder to maintain. Therefore, to meet the requirements of lower emission of greenhouse gases, auxiliary modules such as intermediate ducts are receiving increasing interest. LÄS MER

  2. 22. The Effective Convectivity Model for Simulation and Analysis of Melt Pool Heat Transfer in a Light Water Reactor Pressure Vessel Lower Head

    Författare :Chi Thanh Tran; Tomas Lefvert; Harri Tuomisto; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; light water reactor; hypothetical severe accident; accident progression; accident scenario; core melt pool; heat transfer; turbulent natural convection; heat transfer coefficient; phase change; mushy zone; crust; lower plenum; analytical model; effective convectivity model; CFD simulation; Thermal energy engineering; Termisk energiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Severe accidents in a Light Water Reactor (LWR) have been a subject of intense research for the last three decades. The research in this area aims to reach understanding of the inherent physical phenomena and reduce the uncertainties in their quantification, with the ultimate goal of developing models that can be applied to safety analysis of nuclear reactors, and to evaluation of the proposed accident management schemes for mitigating the consequences of severe accidents. 3. 23. Simulation of historic buildings for enhancement of preservation and energy performance – issues and methods

    Författare :Torun Widström; Folke Björk; Kjartan Gudmundsson; Jesper Arfvidsson; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Building simulation; historic buildings; energy performance; damage risk; mould; thermal bridges; Byggvetenskap; Civil and Architectural Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Historic buildings are often particularly poorly insulated and difficult to heat, and are also at risk for several reasons. These include potential lack of use due to low thermal comfort leading to low or no profitability, damage risks due to over and under-climatization and risks due to climate change altering the boundary conditions that they were built for. 4. 24. Uthålligt lärande om värmen? : Domesticering av energiteknik i passivhus

    Författare :Charlotta Isaksson; Kajsa Ellegård; Per Gyberg; Margarethe Aune; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Domestication; everyday life; practices; learning activities; energy use households; heat comfort; space heating; passive houses; energy efficiency; Domesticering; vardagsliv; praktik; lärande; hushåll; värmekomfort energianvändning; uppvärmning; passivhus; energieffektivisering; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : Den vanligaste lösningen på problemet att för mycket energi används i den byggda miljön är implementering av energieffektiv teknik. Men installation av teknik räcker sällan för att nå förväntad energibesparing: det är människor som i sin vardag använder tekniken och de använder den inte alltid på det sätt som teknikutvecklarna har tänkt sig.
