    Sammanfattning : This thesis theorizes the process of myth aestheticization for marketing and consumption. A concept of myth aestheticization springs from a simple yet complex idea: What if something is not “aesthetic” in and by itself, but it is made “aesthetic”? This thesis would like to refine the argument that aestheticization entails a process that typically translates myths into beautiful, sublime ideals and (re-)produces as something beautiful and/or sublime by brands and consumers, is a way through which consumer culture operates.     Sammanfattning : Certain deadening forces including disneyfication, museumization, and the standardization of heritagescapes have led to the loss of embodied, lived experiences. In an effort to (re)enchant how these landscapes are developed, managed, and encountered, a new landscape model is introduced that combines the more practical components of heritage management (locale and story) with strategies that explore the emotional and affective dimensions of phenomenological landscape experience (presence). Specifically, it investigates Key’s interest in Buddhism and Theosophy by drawing on recent scholarship on alternative and esoteric spiritual movements in the late 1800s to contextualize her ideas, demonstrating how Key's Life Faith was nourished by German idealism, Romanticism, and the so-called Oriental Renaissance. In pursuing ecological sustainability, the Swedish Government assigns importance to the issue of domestic, safe, final disposal of mercury and radioactive waste; responsibility for mercury and radioactive waste management must not be passed to future generations.
