Sammanfattning : Most energy solutions in developing countries focus primarily on solving domestic energy demands of their growing populations without due consideration of sustainable development. On the other hand, in most of these countries, a segment of energy users that has not received enough attention from governments and institutions regarding appropriate energy solutions is the productive sector. Sammanfattning : Transactional Memory (TM) is an emerging programming paradigm that drastically simplifies the development of concurrent applications by relieving programmers from a major source of complexity: how to ensure correct, yet efficient, synchronization of concurrent accesses to shared memory. Despite the large body of research devoted to this area, existing TM systems still suffer from severe limitations that hamper both their performance and energy efficiency. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Exploring Alternative Massive MIMO Designs : Superimposed Pilots and Mixed-ADCs

Författare :Daniel Verenzuela; Emil Björnson; Luca Sanguinetti; Michalis Matthaiou; Mohamad Assaad; Linköpings universitet; []

Sammanfattning : The development of information and communication technologies (ICT) provides the means for reaching global connectivity that can help humanity progress and prosper. This comes with high demands on data traffic and number of connected devices which are rapidly growing and need to be met by technological development. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : Data availability is extremely important for water management. Without data it would not be possible to know how much water is available or how often extreme events are likely to occur. The usually available hydro-meteorological data often have a limited representativeness and are affected by errors and uncertainties. LÄS MER
