An outlook on methods for model calibration to make models valid for their intended use is presented in the thesis. The intention is to make the models valid for robust predictions. What about innovations themselves? During the diffusion process, don’t some innovations continuously alter in space and time? If so, how does the dynamic character of an innovation influence the diffusion process?
