  1. 16. Event-Driven Architectures for Heterogeneous Neuromorphic Computing Systems

    Författare :Mattias Nilsson; Fredrik Sandin; Foteini Liwicki; Jerker Delsing; Chiara Bartolozzi; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Neuromorphic computing; Mixed-signal; Low-power; Non-von Neumann; Spatiotemporal pattern recognition; System integration; Cyber-Physical Systems; Cyberfysiska system;

    Sammanfattning : Mixed-signal neuromorphic processors have brain-like organization and device physics optimized for emulation of spiking neural networks (SNNs), and offer an energy-efficient alternative for implementing artificial intelligence in applications where deep learning based on conventional digital computing is unfeasible or unsustainable. However, efficient use of such hardware requires appropriate configuration of its inhomogeneous, analog neurosynaptic circuits, with methods for sparse, spike-timing-based information encoding and processing. Författare :Irvin Homem; Panagiotis Papapetrou; Fredrik Blix; Indre Žliobaitė; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Digital Forensics; Machine Learning; Computer Forensics; Network Forensics; Predictive Modelling; Distributed Systems; Mobile Devices; Mobile Forensics; Memory Forensics; Android; Semantic Web; Hypervisors; Virtualization; Remote Acquisition; Evidence Analysis; Correlation; P2P; Bittorrent; Computer and Systems Sciences; data- och systemvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Digital Forensics is used to aid traditional preventive security mechanisms when they fail to curtail sophisticated and stealthy cybercrime events. The Digital Forensic Investigation process is largely manual in nature, or at best quasi-automated, requiring a highly skilled labour force and involving a sizeable time investment. LÄS MER

  3. 18. Shared Resources in Distributed Systems: Analytical Tools for Evaluation and Self-stabilizing Provisioning

    Författare :Iosif Salem; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; self-stabilization; smart grid; online algorithms; shared object systems; resource sharing; software-defined networks; distributed algorithms;

    Sammanfattning : Distributed computing is an established computing paradigm of modern computing systems.The nodes of a distributed system interact either by sharing resources or via a communication network. In both cases, provisioning of shared resources is a challenge, for example when resource demand and supply varies or when the system is prone to failures. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Consolidating Automotive Real-Time Applications on Many-Core Platforms

    Författare :Matthias Becker; Thomas Nolte; Marco Di Natale; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Many-Core; Automotive; Network-on-Chip; Real-Time; Timing analysis; Computer Science; datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Automotive systems have transitioned from basic transportation utilities to sophisticated systems. The rapid increase in functionality comes along with a steep increase in software complexity. This manifests itself in a surge of the number of functionalities as well as the complexity of existing functions. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Hardware–Software Tradeoffs in Shared-Memory Implementations

    Författare :Håkan Zeffer; Erik Hagersten; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Datavetenskap; Computer Science;

    Sammanfattning : Shared-memory architectures represent a class of parallel computer systems commonly used in the commercial and technical market. While shared-memory servers typically come in a large variety of configurations and sizes, the advance in semiconductor technology have set the trend towards multiple cores per die and multiple threads per core.
