    Sammanfattning : The general objective of this dissertation is to describe and analyse how specialised respective integrated forms of organisation in the Swedish Personal Social Services (PSS) condition social workers’ interventions and client effects (outcomes). The three specific questions are: 1) How are structural conditions for social work with clients created in specialised versus integrated (generic) forms of organising PSS? 2) How do social workers carry out their work with clients in specialised versus integrated (generic) PSS-organisations? 3) How do different organisational models of PSS  influence the results for clients? The research was conducted in three Swedish municipalities with different organisational models within the personal social services: 1) specialised organisation, 2) integrated organisation, and 3) a “combined” organisation with a mix between integration and specialisation. 3. 3. Spectral-element simulations of turbulent wall-bounded flows including transition and separation

    Författare :Johan Malm; Dan Henningson; Philipp Schlatter; Suad Jakirlic; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :spectral-element method; direct numerical simulation DNS ; large-eddy simulation LES ; turbulence; transition; over-integration; three-dimensional separation; massively parallel simulations; proper orthogonal decomposition POD ; Koopman modes; vorticity stretching; coherence; SRA - E-vetenskap SeRC ; SRA - E-Science SeRC ;

    Sammanfattning : The spectral-element method (SEM) is used to study wall-bounded turbulent flowsin moderately complex geometries. The first part of the thesis is devoted to simulations of canonical flow cases, such as temporal K-type transitionand turbulent channel flow, to investigate general resolution requirements and computational efficiency of the numerical code nek5000. 4. 4. Self-calibration and direct georeferencing in terrestrial laser scanning

    Författare :Yuriy Reshetyuk; Lars E. Sjöberg; Milan Horemuz; Hansjörg Kutterer; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; terrestrial laser scanning; self-calibration; direct georeferencing; error sources; Surveying; Lantmäteri;

    Sammanfattning : An important step in data processing from terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) is georeferencing, i.e. transformation of the scanner data (point clouds) into a real world coordinate system, which is important for their integration with other geospatial data. LÄS MER

  5. 5. The partial element equivalent circuit method : modeling and experimental verification of PCB structures

    Författare :Jonas Ekman; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Industriell elektronik; Industrial Electronics;

    Sammanfattning : To help products comply with international Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)regulations or as a help in a design process numerical simulation of electromagnetic (EM) characteristics are a valuable tool. With the development of high-speed computers the complexity of EM simulation programs and the systems they can simulate has increased considerable. LÄS MER
