  1. 6. Computational Light Field Photography : Depth Estimation, Demosaicing, and Super-Resolution

    Författare :Yongwei Li; Mårten Sjöström; Roger Olsson; Paolo Favaro; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Light field; computational photography; depth estimation; demosaicing; super-resolution;

    Sammanfattning : The transition of camera technology from film-based cameras to digital cameras has been witnessed in the past twenty years, along with impressive technological advances in processing massively digitized media content. Today, a new evolution emerged -- the migration from 2D content to immersive perception. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Elever erfar och representerar världen visuellt : en utforskande studie om hur mellanstadieelever skapar mening genom fotografi

    Författare :Maria Söderling; Lotta Bergman; Fredrik Lindstrand; Sylvana Sofkova Hashemi; Malmö universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Multimodal literacy; photography; semiosis; meaning-making; social semiotics; affordance; positioning; iterativity; digital tool; middle school; Multimodal literacy; fotografi; semiosis; meningsskapande; socialsemiotik; affordans; positionering; iterativitet; digitalt verktyg; mellanstadiet;

    Sammanfattning : Placed within language and literature didactics this qualitative practice-based study with a multimodal perspective aims to explore the potentials for meaning-making through photography.  Despite that, the digitization of society has facilitated access to various modes of meaning-making and has had a major impact on how we communicate and learn, new possibilities for meaning-making using for example film or photography are poorly explored in both research and education. 3. 8. Flow and Friction : On the Tactical Potential of Interfacing with Glitch Art

    Författare :Vendela Grundell; Anna Dahlgren; Mårten Snickare; Max Liljefors; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Glitch; Contemporary Art; Photography; Digital Media; Interface; Internet; Systems Aesthetics; Network Society; Tactics; Phenomenology; Spectatorship; Viewer; Experience; Rosa Menkman; Phillip Stearns; Evan Meaney; konstvetenskap; Art History;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to analyze how interfacing affects viewer experiences and viewer positions, and how glitch art online makes that effect visible. Glitch art is concerned with disruptions in the systems that govern how for instance photography is produced, circulated and displayed in a digital image flow. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Treåringar, kameror och förskola – en serie diffraktiva rörelser

    Författare :Lena O Magnusson; Claes Eriksson; Tarja Karlsson Häikiö; Hillevi Lenz Taguchi; Högskolan i Gävle; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; digital camera; young children; pre-school; aesthetics; gaze; photography; ethics; agential realism; intra-action; diffraction; Innovative Learning; Innovativt lärande; digital camera; young children; pre-school; aesthetics; gaze; photography; ethics; agential realism; intra-action; diffraction;

    Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to examine what happens when three-year-olds are given access to digital cameras, and what shape and form children’s photographic capacity takes within the framework of everyday pre-school activities. The notion that young children in pre-school rarely get to use cameras themselves, and that they take part in photographs produced by pre-school educators as part of an ongoing documenting practice rooted in the curriculum is the point of departure. 5. 10. Digital speckle photography and digital holography for the study of transparent media

    Författare :Eva-Lena Johansson; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Experimentell mekanik; Experimental Mechanics;

    Sammanfattning : In the fields of combustion and fluid mechanics, temperature- and density fields are of interest to measure. Optical measurement methods may be used to study such transparent media. Flames, gases and liquids are examples of transparent media, often called phase objects in an optical context. LÄS MER
