16. Palladium(0)-Catalyzed Synthesis of Spirocycles and Supercritical Chemistry using a Resistively Heated Flow Reactor
Sammanfattning : This doctoral thesis focusses on an effective and selective approach to the synthesis of spirocycles using palladium(0)-catalyzed Mizoroki-Heck reactions. In addition, selective and efficient chemistry was highlighted by the design and evaluation of a novel resistively heated system for continuous flow (CF) synthesis for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. 17. Silaborations of Unsaturated Compounds
Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with the development of transition metal-catalyzed silaborations of 1,3-dienes and 1,6-enynes. The first part of the thesis describes the development of the enantioselective 1,4-silaboration of 1,3-cyclohexadiene. A number of chiral metal-ligand complexes were evaluated. LÄS MER
18. Palladium(II)-Catalyzed Oxidative Cyclization Strategies : Selective Formation of New C-C and C-N Bonds
Sammanfattning : The main focus of this thesis has been directed towards preparation and oxidative carbocyclization of en-, dien- and aza-enallenes.In the first part of this thesis, a stereoselective oxidative carbocyclization of dienallenes was realized. LÄS MER
19. Chemoenzymatic methods for the syntesis of pine sawfly sex peromones
Sammanfattning : This thesis describes the syntheses of pine sawfly sexpheromones via two synthetic routes. The preparation ofenantiomerically pure building blocks for these is alsodescribed.Lipase catalysed methods were developed for either theresolution or desymmetrisation of building blocks. LÄS MER
20. Deracemization of Functionalized Alcohols via Combined Ruthenium and Enzyme Catalysis
Sammanfattning : The major part of this thesis describes the synthesis of enantiopure alcohols and diols by combining ruthenium-catalyzed racemization or epimerization and lipase-catalyzed asymmetric transformations. A minor part of this thesis is focused on ruthenium-catalyzed redox reactions for transfer hydrogenation of 1,3-cycloalkanediketones. LÄS MER
