Sammanfattning : Aim: The overall aim of the thesis was to explore how the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) diary was experienced by family members, family members of non-survivors and nursing staff in the ICU setting, thereby contributing to the development of national clinical practice guidelines regarding the structure, content and use of the ICU diary.Methods: A qualitative design was employed for all four studies: a hermeneutic approach was adopted in studies I and II, whilst a qualitative descriptive design with the use of focus groups interviews was chosen in study III. Sammanfattning : Emotions at War: Sensibility and emotional strategies among Swedish officers, 1788-1814 This thesis studies the relationship between the emotional sufferings of Swedish officers in wartime during the period 1788-1814 and the various mental strategies they employed in order to deal with those sufferings. The study is positioned within the field of research commonly refered to as the history of emotions, and draws methodological inspiration from the concept of ”emotional narratives”, as defined by Peter Goldie. Sammanfattning : A theoretical framework based on the process of how founders and members of a team make decisions during the establishment stage of their respective new ventures, is a relatively unexplored area in the entrepreneurship research field. I develop upon Sarasvathy’s (2001) framework, which is based upon the existence of two decision making processes; causation and effectuation, during the establishment phase of a new venture. LÄS MER
