    Sammanfattning : One way of taking care of spent nuclear fuel is to place it in a geological repository. In Sweden, a three-barrier system is planned. The system is based on encapsulating the fuel in copper canisters. These are surrounded by bentonite clay and buried under 500 m of bedrock. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Supercritical fluids have unique properties - between those of liquids and gases - making them attractive reaction media. Using extensive water flow and metal concentration data, the mean annual transport of copper, cadmium and zinc at a weir downstream from one of the tailings deposits was estimated to be 330, 5.9 and 1700 kg/yr, respectively.
