21. Data-Centric Network of Things : A Method for Exploiting the Massive Amount of Heterogeneous Data of Internet of Things in Support of Services
Sammanfattning : Internet of things (IoT) generates massive amount of heterogeneous data, which should be efficiently utilized to support services in different domains. Specifically, data need to be supplied to services by understanding the needs of services and by understanding the environment changes, so that necessary data can be provided efficiently but without overfeeding. 22. Stereotactic imaging in functional neurosurgery
Sammanfattning : Background: The birth of stereotactic functional neurosurgery in 1947 was to a great extent dependent on the development of ventriculography. The last decades have witnessed a renaissance of functional stereotactic neurosurgery in the treatment of patients with movement disorders. LÄS MER
23. Visual Analysis of Multidimensional Data for Biomechanics and HCI
Sammanfattning : Multidimensional analysis is performed in many scientific fields. Its main tasks involve the identification of correlations between data dimensions, the investigation of data clusters, and the identification of outliers. Visualization techniques often help in getting a better understanding. LÄS MER
24. Resonances in three-body systems
Sammanfattning : Three particles interacting via Coulomb forces represents a fundamental problem in quantum mechanics whose approximate solution provides some insight into the more complex analysis associated with few-body problems. We have investigated resonance states composed of three particles interacting via Coulombic and more general potentials in non-relativistic quantum mechanics, using the complex scaling method. 25. Genetic variation of in-line recorded milkability traits and associations with udder conformation and health in Swedish dairy cattle
Sammanfattning : Slow-milking cows lead to less efficient use of automatic milking systems (AMS) or may hold up the milking process when many cows are milked together in conventional milking parlours (CMP). Traditionally, genetic evaluations for milkability have been based on subjective observations, where the herdsmen have scored the animals once on a scale from slow to fast milking. LÄS MER
