    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Wave power; Lysekil; Marine Substation; Offshore measurement; strain gauge; lateral force; Invlination and azimuth angles; Wave energy converter; Temperature measurements; Inverter; Energy; Control sustem; CompactRIO; Vågkraft; Mätteknik; Styrsystem; Lysekil; Engineering Science; Teknisk fysik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents how experimental results, from wave power research performed offshore at the Lysekil research site, were obtained. The data were used to verify theoretical models as well as evaluate the feasibility of wave power as a future sustainable energy source. LÄS MER

  2. 2. The Planning Process at a Construction Site

    Författare :FREDRIK CHRISTIANSEN; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; construction; Planning; site management; control; coordination; practice;

    Sammanfattning : Planning, coordination and control processes are integral parts of construction project management. Although construction projects are repetitive and their execution is routine, practitioners find themselves at a crossroad deciding whether to specify a detailed course of action or to allow it to develop over the duration of the project. 3. 3. On Optimization-Based Coordination of Automated Vehicles in Confined Sites

    Författare :Stefan Kojchev; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; motion control; cooperative systems; optimal control; Automated vehicles; optimization.; multi-agent systems; graph theory; optimal scheduling;

    Sammanfattning : Autonomous driving is a major technological challenge, offering potential improvements in safety, efficiency, and comfort for daily transportation. However, the full-scale implementation of fully automated vehicles (AVs) remains distant, primarily due to safety concerns. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Towards semi-automation of forestry cranes : automated trajectory planning and active vibration damping

    Författare :Szabolcs Fodor; Leonid Freidovich; Carlos Vázquez; Anton Shiriaev; Torben Ole Andersen; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Forestry; forwarder cranes; semi-automation; slewing actuator; automated trajectory planning; oscillations; inner boom actuator; active vibration damping; frequency estimation; input shaping control technique; H2-optimal control;

    Sammanfattning : Forests represent one of the biggest terrestrial ecosystems of Earth, that can produce important raw renewable materials such as wood with the help of sun, air and water. To efficiently extract these raw materials, the tree harvesting process is highly mechanized in developed countries, meaning that advanced forestry machines are continuously used to fell, to process and to transport the logs and biomass obtained from the forests.
