Sammanfattning : Living matter is built on complex dynamic systems consisting of numerus biotransformations. By exploiting the adaptive and evolutive behaviors ofmolecular matter, dynamic chemistry has developed as an important tool tounderstand the organization of nonliving matter into complex living systems. Sammanfattning : Nature tends to inspire research in chemistry. Systems that emerge from molecules interacting via reaction networks is something that life has mastered over the course of evolution in order to produce complexity. Dynamic reactions are key in systems chemistry, where reaction networks give rise to complex, emergent behavior. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : This  thesis  is  divided  into  four  parts,  all  centered  around  Constitutional Dynamic  Chemistry  (CDC)  and  Dynamic  Kinetic  Resolution  (DKR)  using biocatalysts for selective transformations, and their applications in screening of bioactive compounds, organic synthesis, and enzyme classification.   In  part  one,  an  introduction  to  CDC  and  DKR  is  presented,  illustrating  the basic  concepts,  practical  considerations  and  potential  applications  of  such dynamic systems, thus providing the background information for the studies in the following chapters.
