21. Computational Modeling of the Dynamics of Fluid-Filled Porous Media with Application to Road and Railway Structures
Sammanfattning : The dynamics of fluid-saturated porous media is a challenging topic with applications in many engineering fields like, e.g., road and railway mechanics. The complexity of the problem requires high computational effort when performing simulations of the coupled dynamic deformation and fluid flow in a saturated porous medium. LÄS MER
22. Advances in time-domain induced polarization monitoring with application on chlorinated solvents contamination : Towards scalable real-time geophysical monitoring
Sammanfattning : Environmental pollution is a significant concern for scientists, practitioners, authorities and the society. Among the various pollutants, chlorinated solvents pose a considerable risk to our groundwater resources. LÄS MER
23. Methods for Elimination of Double Taxation under Double Tax Treaties – with Particular Reference to the Application of Double Tax Treaties in Sweden
Sammanfattning : Kleist, D. 2012. Methods for Elimination of Double Taxation under Double Tax Treaties – with Particular Reference to the Application of Double Tax Treaties in Sweden. Iustus Förlag AB. LÄS MER
25. Optimistic Replication with Forward Conflict Resolution in Distributed Real-Time Databases
Sammanfattning : In this thesis a replication protocol - PRiDe - is presented, which supports optimistic replication in distributed real-time databases with deterministic detection and forward resolution of transaction conflicts. The protocol is designed to emphasize node autonomy, allowing individual applications to proceed without being affected by distributed operation. LÄS MER
