  1. 16. Evaluating the performance of TEWA systems

    Författare :Fredrik Johansson; Göran Falkman; Lars Karlsson; Lars Niklasson; Martin Holmberg; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; air defense; information fusion; performance evaluation; threat evaluation; TEWA; weapon allocation; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP; Information technology; Informationsteknik; Computer science; Datavetenskap; Datalogi; Computer and Systems Science; Teknik;

    Sammanfattning : It is in military engagements the task of the air defense to protect valuable assets such as air bases from being destroyed by hostile aircrafts and missiles. In order to fulfill this mission, the defenders are equipped with sensors and firing units. To infer whether a target is hostile and threatening or not is far from a trivial task. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Towards Usable openEHR-aware Clinical Decision Support: A User-centered Design Approach

    Författare :Pariya Kashfi; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []

  3. 18. Massification of the Intangible : An investigation into embodied meaning and information visualization

    Författare :Andreas Lund; Erik Stolterman; Pelle Ehn; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Informatics; computer and systems science; Information visualization; theory driven design; embodied realism; massification design; human-computer interaction; Informatik; data- och systemvetenskap; Informatics; computer and systems science; Informatik; data- och systemvetenskap; människa-datorinteraktion; människa-datorinteraktion;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis addresses two related problems. It is argued that the materiality of physical artifacts serves the purpose of expressing abstract information. In contrast, the intangibility of IT is of such a kind that it poses different conditions for expressing abstract information. LÄS MER

  4. 19. On Pose Estimation in Room-Scaled Environments

    Författare :Hanna E. Nyqvist; Gustaf Hendeby; Fredrk Gustafsson; Isaac Skog; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Sammanfattning : Pose (position and orientation) tracking in room-scaled environments is an enabling technique for many applications. Today, virtual reality (vr) and augmented reality (ar) are two examples of such applications, receiving high interest both from the public and the research community. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Envisioning a Future Decision Support System for Requirements Engineering : A Holistic and Human-centred Perspective

    Författare :Beatrice Alenljung; Anne Persson; Sture Hägglund; Pär Carlshamre; Per Ågerfalk; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Requirements engineering; decision-making; decision support systems; RE decision-making; RE decision support; Informatics; Informatik; Informatics and systems science; Teknik;

    Sammanfattning : Complex decision-making is a prominent aspect of requirements engineering (RE) and the need for improved decision support for RE decision-makers has been identified by a number of authors in the research literature. The fundamental viewpoint that permeates this thesis is that RE decision-making can be substantially improved by RE decision support systems (REDSS) based on the actual needs of RE decision-makers as well as the actual generic human decision-making activities that take place in the RE decision processes.
