  1. 1. Collaborative Measures : Challenges in Airport Operations

    Författare :Simon Okwir; Jannis Angelis; Pernilla Ulfvengren; Felipe Ruiz; Mats Winroth; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Performance Measurement; Airport Operations; Collaboration Decision Making; Industriell ekonomi och organisation; Industrial Economics and Management; Planering och beslutsanalys; Planning and Decision Analysis; Transportvetenskap; Transport Science; Industrial Information and Control Systems; Industriella informations- och styrsystem;

    Sammanfattning : Over the last 20 years, internal use of Performance Management(PM) within organizations has become much more complex in terms measurement techniques and approaches as well as their deployment within different organizational structures. In contrast to the traditional use of PM as an intra-organizational system, the emergence of networked operations, has extended organizational boundaries of Performance Management System (PMS) to new operational settings where actors often deal with a challenge of Collaborative Measures. 2. 2. Supporting the Implementation of Industrial Robots in Collaborative Assembly Applications

    Författare :Staffan Andersson; Jessica Bruch; Marie Jonsson; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Collaborative robots; Human-robot collaboration; assembly operations; operations management; flexible assembly; Innovation and Design; innovation och design; Innovation and Design; innovation och design;

    Sammanfattning : Until recently, few technologies have been applicable to increase flexibility in the manufacturers’ assembly applications, but the introduction of industrial robots in collaborative assembly applications provides such opportunities. Specifically, these collaborative assembly applications present an opportunity to, in a fenceless environment, combine the flexibility of the human with the accuracy, repeatability, and strengths of the robot while utilizing less floor space and allowing portable applications. Sammanfattning : The last couple of years have marked the entire field of information technology with the introduction of a new global resource, called data. Certainly, one can argue that large amounts of information and highly interconnected and complex datasets were available since the dawn of the computer and even centuries before. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Towards intelligent and collaborative automation of automotive final assembly

    Författare :Atieh Hanna; Mikael Ekström; Anna Syberfeldt; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Human-robot collaboration; robotic safety; collaborative operations; production planning; Computer Science; datavetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : Automation and robotics have transformed the automotive industry by increasing efficiency and improving product quality. However, in manual final assembly and material handling in the truck industry, where the environment is crowded and the process is complex, it is hard to automate using traditional industrial robots.
