6. Studies of electrically conductive textile coatings with PEDOT:PSS
Sammanfattning : This study investigates electrically conductive coatings of textiles, obtained with a direct coating and the addition of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) dispersion to a thickened polyurethane (PU)-based formulation. Textiles with enhanced electrical conductivity have potential applications in antistatic, electrostatic discharge protective, electromagnetic interference shielding, sensoric and temperature-regulating products. 9. Inhibition of light-induced colour reversion of wood-containing papers by means of coating
Sammanfattning : The main purpose of this thesis was to find ways to maintain a low level of light‐induceddiscolouration at an increased addition of mechanical and chemimechanical pulps in coated highqualityfine paper and magazine paper grades. Current technology allows the production of highyieldpulps such as thermomechanical and chemimechanical pulps with properties suitable formanufacturing high‐quality paper or paperboard with a low basis weight. 10. The Prediction of Fluid Flow, Particle In-Flight and Coating Characteristics in Atmospheric Plasma Spraying
Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to make a contribution to the development and application of models for the simulation and optimisation of plasma spray processes in production engineering. In particular, focus is placed on the development, combination and application of models for coating deposition and robot motion optimisation, the prediction of coating temperatures during deposit, the simulation of the plasma flow field, and in-flight characteristics of injected particles.
