  1. 1. Design, Fabrication and Optimization of Thermal Radiation Detectors Based on Thin Polymer Membranes

    Författare :Claes Mattsson; Hans-Erik Nilsson; Göran Thungström; Ylva Bäcklund; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Thermal detector; Polymer; Membrane; SU-8; Electronics; Elektronik;

    Sammanfattning : The number of applications in which infrared radiation sensors are used is increasing. In some applications, the cost of the sensor itself is an issue, and simple solutions are thus required. In this thesis, the investigations have related to the use of thin polymer membranes in thermal infrared sensors, such as bolometers and thermopiles. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Fabrication and Characterization of Photon Radiation Detectors

    Författare :Claes Mattsson; Hans-Erik Nilsson; Göran Thungström; Mikael Lindeberg; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Thermal Detectors; Posistion Sensitive Detectors; Electronics; Elektronik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis involves a study the fabrication and characterization of photon radiation detectors. The focus has been to develop and improve the performance of optical measurement systems, but also to reduce their cost. The work is based on the study of two types of detectors, the position sensitive detector and the thermal detector. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Constructing Consumer Knowledge in Market Research : An Ethnography of Epistemics

    Författare :Johan Nilsson; Claes-Fredrik Helgesson; Lotta Björklund Larsen; Franck Cochoy; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; market research; commissioned knowledge production; epistemics; Sweden; marketing; ESOMAR; ethnography; epistemography; epistemic culture.; marknadsundersökningar; uppdragsbaserad kunskapsproduktion; det epistemiska; marknadsföring; ESOMAR; etnografi; epistemografi; kunskapskultur;

    Sammanfattning : Market research pervades society. It is an endeavour that connects marketing practice with methods similar to social science. Further, market research results appear as knowledge produced to inform recipients towards making productive business decisions and as a commodity sold to commissioning clients. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Studies of the chromatin form of yeast Mediator and the function of its tail module

    Författare :Miriam Nilsson; Stefan Björklund; Claes Gustafsson; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Mediator complex; Transcriptional regulation; yeast; tail module; transcription; medicinsk biokemi; Medical Biochemistry; molekylärbiologi; Molecular Biology;

    Sammanfattning : Mediator is a large, multifunctional complex that is conserved in eukaryotes. It was first discovered in Saccharomyces cerevisiaeas required for transcriptional activators to function in a reconstituted in vitro system. Mediator is also important for stimulation of basal, unregulated transcription, and transcriptional repression. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Learning to Teach and Teaching to Learn : Primary science student teachers´ complex journey from learners to teachers

    Författare :Pernilla Nilsson; Claes Ericsson; Christopher Clark; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Experience; reflection; PCK; primary science; student teacher; teacher education; Erfarenhet; lärarstudent; lärarutbildning; naturvetenskap; PCK; reflektion; ämnesdidaktisk kunskap; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; Social sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns the process of student teachers´ learning to teach primary science and is based on four studies involving primary science student teachers during their teacher education program. The overall question that the thesis intends to investigate is in which ways student teachers’ learning about teaching can be illustrated and understood in terms of the critical aspects that are experienced within their teaching and learning practices.
