    Sammanfattning : The main contribution of noise levels in cities is today road traffic. The strongest source for all road vehicles is most often the tyre-road contact.     Sammanfattning : Millions of people in Europe, and even more on a global scale, are affected by environ- mental noise. Creating access for the inhabitants to a quiet side can be an alternative method for reducing the annoyance. Therefore it is of interest to predict the level on shielded positions such as courtyards.     Sammanfattning : Paper 1 investigates how birth order and having siblings affect positional concerns in terms of success at work and of income.
