Sammanfattning : This thesis expounds special educational development work in (pre-)schools 1994-99 (analysed 2002-06). The work is based on action research. 40 children were identified to be in need of support as they did not get involved in the school’s daily activities. Sammanfattning : The subject of this thesis is children’s theatre making in the Swedish School of Arts (Kulturskolan), which involves the creating work that children do on their own when they are asked to craft dramatic scenes without relying on a script or a story. Despite the fact that this is a common way of producing theatre in the Swedish School of Arts, little research has been done on the collective process when it is controlled by the children themselves. Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the Educational Process Reflection (EPR) studies has been to develop a better understanding concerning interaction between adults and children and the conditions for children’s peer play and interaction within the pre-school arena. The ultimate goal of the present study is to explore how practitioners through the use of EPR may develop the dimension of social interaction between practitioners and children and between children, in order to consciously create a more healthy and inclusive experience for all children and especially for children at risk. 20. Pedagogiska miljöer och barns subjektskapande
Sammanfattning : The main purpose of the study is to provide perspectives and contribute to the discussion about how children´s identities and subjectivity are made in pre-schools and schools; both how children look upon and understand themselves in the educational context and how they are perceived and described by others. The intentions have been to open possibilities to regard the educational environment as an important condition for children´s behaviour and doings and thus as conditions for their level of performance and for the identity that is ascribed to each child.
