    Sammanfattning : When Sweden was hit by the massunemployment of the 1920s the preferred way of distributing the help to the unemployed was to engage them in publicly financed and run relief works.     Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to discuss German Nazism and Nazi Germany from the point of view of two specific representatives, namely, labour and capital. This has been facilitated by analysing the content of the Swedish Seamen’s Union’s newspaper, The Seafarer [Sjömannen] and its union counterpart, the Swedish Shipowners Association’s periodical, Scandinavian Shipping Gazette [Svensk Sjöfarts Tidning], from November 1932 up to and including 1945.     Sammanfattning : This thesis is based on fieldwork carried out during the 1990s in three primary and secondary local authority schools in Stockholm where the teaching staff dealt with questions related to immigration and integration as part of their daily work. The aim is to describe and analyse the attention the teaching staff devoted to the category of immigrant children and to illuminate how this attention generated particular conditions for these children. This thesis presents a method for file type categorisation of unknown data fragments, a method for reassembly of JPEG fragments, and the requirements put on an artificial JPEG header for viewing reassembled images.
