Sammanfattning : This thesis researches the phenomenon ‘caring relationship’. The empirical studies in this thesis were carried out in China with the aim to describe the caring relationship in China through the lifeworld experiences of professional caregivers and patients. Sammanfattning : The over-riding aim of this thesis was to obtain a deeper understanding of the way patients with cardiac problems view both information related to their health and medical decisions and their role in decision-making processes.
