22. E-mental health interventions for informal caregivers : Development with a focus on implementation
Sammanfattning : The four studies within this thesis contributed to the identification of key factors to be considered when designing and implementing e-mental health (e-MH) interventions for informal caregivers. Study I was a mixed-methods systematic review to examine factors related to the effectiveness and implementation of e-MH interventions for informal caregivers of adults with chronic diseases. LÄS MER
23. A Caregiver Perspective on Incorporating IT Support into Dementia Care
Sammanfattning : Aim: The overall aim of the present thesis was to describe and evaluate IT support in dementia care from the perspectives of staff and relatives. More specifically, it was to examine staff members’ satisfaction with work, life satisfaction and sense of coherence before and after increased IT support, to describe staff members’ opinions and perceptions of IT support during the process of implementation, to describe relatives’ opinions of IT support and to compare relatives’ perceptions of their irritations with care and life satisfaction before and after increased IT support. 24. Communication in Palliative Home Care, Grief and Bereavement - A mother’s experiences
Sammanfattning : In this study a mother’s experiences of communication between her adult son dying in leiomyosarcoma and herself (the author), between his family and a palliative home care team and communication in the support of the mother in her parental grief and bereavement are described and analyzed. The mother’s experiences are captured in personal accounts, writings, during the year of her son’s illness with cancer and his palliative home care and during three years of grief and bereavement after her loss. Sammanfattning : To be sentenced to care in the forensic psychiatric services can be seen as one of the most comprehensive encroachments society can make on a person's life and being, as it entails a limitation of the individual's freedom but with no time limit.
