    Sammanfattning : This thesis clarifies how female artistry in Sweden is constructed, ptimarily with the help of Pierre Bourdieu' s key concepts (habitus)(capital )+field=practice, and chiefly through three institutions: art collecting, art history writing, and art criticism.
