    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, seven temperature adjectives in Swedish are analysed: varm ’warm’, kall ’cold’, het ’hot’, ljum/ljummen ’lukewarm’ or ’tepid’, kylig ’chilly’, sval ’cool’ and mild ’mild’. A model for analysis, inspired by cognitive semantics etc., has been elaborated for the purpose of analysing these adjectives. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The main aim of this work was to identify local adaptation processes in amphibian populations, thereby improving the general understanding of genetics and mechanisms behind the evolution and maintenance of biological diversity. Phenotypic and genetic variation in life-history traits was studied within and between populations common frog (Rana temporaria) populations along a 1600 km transect from southern Sweden to northern Finland.     Sammanfattning : Background: A subdural collection of old blood is called a chronic subdural hematoma (cSDH). A cSDH of sufficient volume becomes symptomatic and neurosurgical evacuation is then necessary.
