1. VLSI aspects on inversion in finite fields
Sammanfattning : Different algorithms and architectures for inversion in finite extension fields are studied. The investigation is restricted to fields of characteristic two. Based on a simple transistor model, various architectures are compared with respect to delay, area requirement, and energy consumption. LÄS MER
2. Gröbner Basis Methods for Minimal Problems in Computer Vision
Sammanfattning : A method is presented for building solvers for classes of multivariate polynomial equations. The method is based on solving an analogous template problem over a finite field, and then using the elimination order established for this problem for the original class of problems. LÄS MER
3. Motstånd och mening : Innebörd i blivande lärares seminariesamtal
Sammanfattning : Both historically and in our own time the teacher education has been discussed and changed to match current traditions and intentions. There is an ongoing debate about the scientifi c basis of teacher education and the relation to professional basis. LÄS MER
4. Chemical basis of ABO subgroups
Sammanfattning : Despite the ABO histo-blood group system being the most biologically significant in humans the chemical structures that define its various phenotypes still remain largely unresolved. Like all blood group systems there is a significant range in the amount of antigen present on the red cells of an individual and there exists a range of so-called “weak” phenotypes represented by decreasing expression of A or B antigens. 5. Structural basis for metalloprotein catalysis : Characterization of Mycobacterium tuberculosis phosphatidylinositol phosphate synthase PgsA1 and Bacillus anthracis ribonucleotide reductase R2
Sammanfattning : About a third of all proteins need to associate with a particular metal ion or metallo-inorganic cofactor to function. This interplay expands the catalytic repertoire of enzymes and reflects the adaption of these catalytic macromolecules to the environments they have evolved in. LÄS MER
