  1. 16. Diluted Operation of a Heavy-Duty Natural Gas Engine - Aiming at Improved Effciency, Emission and Maximum Load

    Författare :Mehrzad Kaiadi; Förbränningsmotorer; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Turbulence; Natural gas engine; Dilution limit; VGT; Cyclic variation; Closed-loop control; Heavy-duty;

    Sammanfattning : Most heavy-duty engines are diesel operated. Severe emission regulations, high fuel prices, high technology costs (e.g. catalysts, fuel injection systems) and unsustainably in supplying fuel are enough reasons to convenience engine developers to explore alternative technologies or fuels. 2. 17. Advancing Modeling and Tracking of Deformable Linear Objects for Real-World Applications

    Författare :Yuxuan Yang; Todor Stoyanov; Johannes A Stork; Ville Kyrki; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Deformable Linear Object; Model Learning; Model-based Control; Tracking; Robustness;

    Sammanfattning : Deformable linear objects (DLOs), such as cables, wires, ropes, and sutures, are important components in various applications in robotics. Although automating DLO manipulation tasks through robot deployment can offer benefits in terms of cost reduction and increased efficiency, it presents difficult challenges. LÄS MER

  3. 18. Noise Applications in Light Water Reactors with Traveling Perturbations

    Författare :Victor Dykin; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Green s function technique; transit times; decay ratio; cross-correlation function; void fraction; global and regional instabilities; propagating density perturbation; BWR stability; reduced order models; non-white driving force; local component; Monte Carlo; space-dependent neutron noise; density wave oscillations;

    Sammanfattning : Neutron noise induced by perturbations traveling with the coolant of light water reactors (LWRs) is investigated. Different methods to simulate the effect of propagating perturbations are considered. The studies are performed in both open- and closed-loop systems and summarized in three chapters. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Automated Computer Systems for Manufacturability Analyses and Tooling Design : Applied to the Rotary Draw Bending Process

    Författare :Joel Johansson; Staffan Sunnersjö; Ulf Sellgren; Jönköping University; []

    Sammanfattning : Intensive competition on the global market puts great pressure on manufacturing companies to develop and produce products that meet requirements from customers and investors. One key factor in meeting these requirements is the efficiency of the product development and the production preparation processes. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Kurbits-ReBoot : svensk folksång i ny scenisk gestaltning

    Författare :Susanne Rosenberg; Heikki Laitinen; Hannu Saha; Johan Sundberg; Henrik Frisk; Kungl. Musikhögskolan; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Folk song; stage presence; vocal performance studies; performance; variation; improvisation; flow; interpretation; artistic research; folk hymns; ballads; folk vocal styles; herding calls; kulning; folksång; scenisk gestaltning; musikupplevelse; performans; variation; improvisation; flow; interpret; interpretation; konstnärlig forskning; folkliga koraler; ballader; sångsätt; kulning;

    Sammanfattning : This artistic research project is an explorative study in new forms of expression of Swedish folk singing in a scenic context, exploring expressive qualities in traditional Swedish folk song from the point of view of the folk singer as a creative performer. The fundamental research question is how, in a scenic context, can space be given to what is a characteristic quality of traditional folk song, namely creative interpretation in the moment, through variation and improvisation using the song as a concept rather than a fixed work.
